Lakeside

Lakeside, 6 x 8

Here is another painting from my road trip last weekend to Canyon of the Eagles Park, on Lake Buchanan. There really are eagles there. Bald Eagles nest, live and enjoy full protection in this wonderful sanctuary. Early in the morning, I could see them soaring above the lake.

Hi Laurel,

I Don't know how you do it, but I love what you do. Another superb painting.

These are just gorgeous... is it me or can I feel the heat rising off of them?

Love the way the darkness of the foreground recedes into the subtle apricot color peaking through the trees, and then the "orange" is balanced so nicely around the perimeter. Beautiful. A great setting "where eagles soar."

You are an inspiration, with your jumping out on the side of the road to paint!

Lovely. The colored ground showing through at the top creates the perfect balance.
