Ledges at Bull Creek

Ledges at Bull Creek, 9 x 12

Today was my first chance since the new year to paint en plein air. After several paintout cancellations due to cold and rain in the last six weeks, it was a joy to be out in the sunshine. Not only that, but this creek was full and flowing - something we haven't seen since before the draught. A glorious sight!

Oh, we in colder climes are so jealous! It is a lovely painting.

Well, this just makes me feel worse about not being there! Beautiful work as always!

Love the way you handle foliage. And water... beautiful!

Laurel, it was great seeing you again yesterday and I had a great time. Your painting is fabulous and I'm hoping to finish mine this weekend. I plan to show up on the 30th and to keep showing up as often as I can. Thanks for being so kind and supportive - it really means a lot to a newbie like me!

We've been socked in my the rain... I expect it's heading your way, so glad you were able to get out and paint!

I can feel the bright sunny winter day (Texas Winter Day) in your painting.
