Clouds Rolling In

Clouds Rolling In, L. Daniel, 8 x 6, SOLD

A dramatic sky gets me every time. On this particular day, I was just finishing up another painting in the other direction when these clouds emerged. I couldn't stay, but I memorized the scene AND snapped a picture (you know, just in case I should forget something.)

Great sky composition. Another one that would make a good large painting.

Wonderful! Love the combination of dramatic clouds, disappearing road and open space - that's what rules my world.

You do great skies.
Oh if I could live long enough to paint every great photo I've snapped.
I'd be as old as Methusela (sp?)

Nice composition. Love the clouds and the dirt road. Around here I seem to struggle with finding neat compositons its flat down here around Alvin, TX.

I hope you were able to capture some of the clouds this evening. They were magnificant looking towards the west. Great big cumolous clouds. Although they may have past Austin already.

What a great job ... light, color, perspective, atmosphere, synthesis in the outline, gestures with the brush ... is one of my favorites ... greetings!
